ADBLUE urea is a colorless and transparent liquid that is stored in a urea tank. When the sensor detects nitrogen oxides in the exhaust pipe, it will automatically spray a mist of car urea, which is mixed with nitrogen oxides and undergoes an oxidation-reduction reaction in the SCR reaction tank, generating and discharging pollution-free nitrogen and water.
The purpose of adding adblue to diesel vehicles is to treat exhaust gas, reduce pollutants in exhaust gas, optimize engine performance, and fuel consumption.
The impact of diesel vehicles not adding adblue urea: 1. Emissions exceeding standards, causing pollution to the environment; 2. The chemicals in the car system will oxidize, and the urea nozzle will block, causing the entire system to be scrapped; 3. The vehicle's power performance decreases.
In 2019, China's production of automotive urea reached 1.354 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 39.6%; In 2020, China's production of automotive urea reached 2.17 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 60.3%; In 2021, China's production of automotive urea reached 2.643 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 21.8%; In 2022, China's production of automotive urea reached 3.195 million tons, a year-on-year increase of 20.9%. The market price of China's automotive urea was 290￥/ton in 2018, 280￥/ton in 2019, 250￥/ton in 2020, and 260￥/ton in 2021.

Starting from July 1, 2021 in China , all heavy-duty diesel vehicles produced, imported, sold, and registered shall comply with the requirements of the National VI emission standards, and the scope of inclusion of the National VI emission standards shall be further expanded.
The amount of adblue used in vehicles is very large, and for every 100L of fuel used by the truck after use, it requires 5L of adblue used in vehicles.
If adblue urea production equipment is used, the urea solution consists of 35% automotive urea and 65% deionized water. The adblue urea equipment in China ranges from 5000 to 8000 ￥, with a cost of 260-300 ￥/ton for vehicle urea and 1.5￥/ton of deionized water. One ton of vehicle urea can produce 3 tons of urea solution, with a comprehensive cost of approximately 120￥/ton. The cost of a barrel of 10kg is around 1.6￥. Small bucket, 10L/barrel, priced at 3.6-5.8￥/barrel, mainly located in gas stations, auto parts cities, repair shops, etc., where car buying is convenient and traffic is high in China.
The price of adblue urea in China roughly ranges from 0.4￥/L to 0.7￥/L, with different brands and prices. There are two types of package : barrel and bag. The capacity is 10 L, 20 L, and 1 ton. Regular brand adblue urea in China is generally 10kg and priced between 3.8￥and 6.5￥. The price of 10kg urea for bagged vehicles ranges from 3.3￥to 6.2￥. The price of 1 ton of vehicle urea ranges from 260￥ to 440￥. The price of 1 ton of granular urea ranges from 405￥ to 578￥.
