Urea Car Warning
The use of car urea may seem simple, but there are actually many things to pay attention to.Standardized use of car urea can ensure its normal function, and it is necessary to understand the warning of urea cars in advance.

Vehicle urea solution is colorless, transparent, and clear liquid with a concentration between 31.8%-33.2%and is used to restore nitrogen oxidation compounds. The currently used car urea solution is generally composed of 32.5%of high -purity urea and 67.5%of exfoliating water. Vehicle urea solution was first used in Europe. It is called ADBLUE. North America is called DEF (Diesel Exhaust Fluid, that is, diesel engine tail gas treatment solution).

Here are some precautions for urea car warning :


1. Regularly check the urea solution level in the urea tank and add urea solution in a timely manner. The amount of urea solution used in vehicles is 4% -6% of the amount of diesel fuel used. Based on the journey, estimate the amount of urea solution used, and if necessary, carry sufficient barrels of urea with the vehicle.


2. When adding urea solution for vehicles, a dedicated filling tube should be used to prevent impurities from entering.


3. After adding the urea solution, the cap of the urea tank should be tightened to prevent pollutants in the air from entering and causing urea to deteriorate or crystallize.


4. Vehicle urea solution is alkaline and has a certain degree of corrosiveness. It should be avoided to connect vehicle urea solution with metals (excluding stainless steel), as these materials will react with trace amounts of ammonia in vehicle urea solution to generate compounds that affect SCR operation.


5. During the transportation and storage of urea solution for vehicles, light and high temperatures should be avoided. The transportation and storage temperature should be -5 ℃ -25 ℃. At a low temperature of -11 ℃, urea crystals will precipitate from vehicle urea solution. When adding urea solution, it should be hydrated at a temperature of<30 ℃ to form crystals, which does not affect the normal use of vehicle urea solution.

6. The consumption of automotive urea solution is related to fuel consumption and the onboard SCR system, and is not related to the brand of urea. The amount of urea sprayed by the urea feeder is controlled by the engine ECM, and EMC controls the urea pump to use the injector to inject urea into the exhaust pipe based on the transmission information of the nitrogen oxide sensor, exhaust temperature sensor, and urea pressure sensor. The urea is evenly mixed with the engine exhaust gas and undergoes chemical reactions on the carrier of the silencer to purify the exhaust gas.


Sometimes the compatibility between EMC and sensors, urea pumps, and nozzles is not good, which can easily lead to a mismatch between the amount of urea sprayed and exhaust emissions. This not only leads to waste of urea solution, but also leads to excess ammonia gas polluting the air.


OVERALL, correctly using car urea can maintain a good technical state of the vehicle, and also ensure the service life of the urea tank and SCR system.
