It is reported that in 2020, China had a total of 281 million vehicles, including 4.92 million new energy vehicles, while fossil-fuel-powered vehicles still accounted for 98.2%. These fossil-fuel-powered vehicles consumed approximately 260 million tons of gasoline and diesel fuel throughout the year.
